Year 3 Competition
Auskick Centres run programs for Pre-Primary, Year 1 and Year 2 children only. Year 3 children registering to play from 2018 onward will now form part of the Junior Competition run under the jurisdiction of the West Perth District Junior Competition Council.
What does this mean for you?
Your child will now play their football on a Sunday morning under the modified rules version of the game. This means that rather than playing against other QDJFC teams every week, they will be playing against teams from the seven other clubs in the West Perth District in a home and away fixtured competition. They will also have one mid-week training session per week, running for 1 to 1½ hours. It’ll be back to early starts too as the Year 3’s are scheduled to play at 8.30am.
Year 3 Registration Info
As your child is now leaving Auskick, they will be required to register as a new player for the Club, as all registration details are kept in a separate database for the Year 3 to Year 12 players. Also, as they are now part of the Junior Competition, the annual fee will increase to $175 for the first child in a family and $155 for any additional children from the same family. This increase in fees allows the club to pay for such things as first-aid kits, umpire fees (Yr 5 – 7), line marking equipment, volunteer vests, training equipment, additional playing jumpers as well as set fees imposed by West Perth.
An email inviting you to register with the Club will be issued soon, or you can visit the Registration page of our website www.quinnsbulls.com/registration for the relevant information.
